Since there are 8 days left I'd recommend writing the seller and letting him know. If he doesn't pull it then ebay should get involved.

By the way, I don't know much about Fugio Cents, but that sure doesn't look like AU 50 to me!

Edit: Good point Vermontensium. That is a possibility, but if the seller is contacted he should be able to tell you that.

Saruma, Colonials take on a whole new perspective on grading. Several factors are taken into consideration when grading Colonials that you would not use on more modern coins. I would say High XF Details/corrosion.

Interesting. I want to get into Colonials some day, but I have enough to learn about US government coins to keep me busy for a while. I think the corrosion was throwing me off. Also, I can't imagine using a scanner to sell high value coins. I spent a week upgrading my photographic setup in order to start selling on ebay, and all I have now to sell are coins under $50 in value. I'm not saying that to pick on the seller, instead I feel bad for him that he may be losing out on a lot of money by not having high quality images that show off the coin in its best light.
