We are going through our collection and found this in our IHC bag. I know there is evnviroment damage, but what would this grade at. Should I send it in for grading? We have not as of yet had anything graded. Thanks all for any help.

Will acetone do anything to help on this or just let it be as is?

Fine details, probably F12, maybe 15, hard to tell with all the pitting and corrosion. I imagine that the severity of the corrosion will lower the price to what a problem free G4 or AG would go for, maybe even lower.

Aw, poor girl, look at what happened to you. You're still loveable, though, provided you're the real deal. We'll start you out at F-12 and let the market net you down from there.

Thanks for all the info. I'm guessing I should still send it in for grading, even with the "corrosion"?

Looks to have been a VF coin prior to been lost and buried.
ANACS would be the best choice for this coin.

VF details might be pushing it a bit since the ribbon band seems to be far from in tact, but probably F-12 details. Would only get an AG price though, even slabbed, but hey, that's several hundreds of dollars.
