I bought this Morgan RAW from someone I have bought from in the past (who takes very bad photos ). When it arrived today I was MOST pleasantly surprised. . Give me your best estimate as to grade. BTW, there is a lot of PL-ness going on with it - just hard to depict with my camera setup. Under magnification I find no evidence of cleaning, whizzing, or any of those dastardly "ing" descriptors. This one is a bit more difficult to grade because the focal point is a bit dark in the pictures. From what I can tell, this coin seems to be MS with a grade that I would guess to be ranging from MS-60 to 63. Very nice coin BTW!

I dont see too many scratches, dents or marks in those nice frosty fields, or on libertys cheeks so I would go ahead and grade this a 64.

This may be a slider AU, or could be 63 or so.
Rest in Peace

I'm still new at this grading game, but I would have to agree with MS-63, at least....more likely MS-64.

Coin photography is such a tricky game, most times it's hard to capture a coin's true luster and such effectively. That said, this one sure looks like a keeper !

Citizen....your are very correct in that many post photo's that do not represent the true coin...as it is...You are very experienced in this and taking pictures to represent your coins, and also understand the need to truely represent the coin as it really is...

Fenton, I am with you. the fields on both sides do not support an MS grade from these photos

I believe the coin shows signs of some sort of cleaning, has an un-natural shine/gloss look to it and would grade the coin at AU-58,MS-60.Just another opinion.....
