Where's the cheapest place to buy junk silver. And inversely, where's the best place to sell your junk silver for a high premium?

People here (myself included) have junk silver for/around spot quite frequently for sale. As for selling yours for high premiums? When you find out let the rest of us know!

You are almost to the magic "50" posts to buy.

That is a great resource for any silver bullion collector. Forming a good relationship with a local coin or pawn shop is a substantial benefit. If they are good, patronize their store as often as you can.

I've got quite a bit of "junk" silver at spot, or close to spot on ebay. You have to be patient though.

I buy some off CL, from pawnshops, antique stores, coinshops, but most from a local dealer who will sell to me at spot. And he will deliver it.

As far as selling, I have not sold much, but what I have sold I sold off CL.

had a lot of luck selling off kijiji (basically a free local ebay - run by ebay). So far met really great people through the sales, but my wife keeps telling me I'm pushing my luck.

Glad to hear that things have worked out well so far. Listen to your wife on this one, though. She may have some intuition on it that you don't. Women tend to be more sensitive to such things than most men. It only takes one bad episode to completely erase ALL of the good ones that came before it. Be cautious.
