I cracked open a couple of 2011 Loon dollar rolls today, fresh from a RCM box. Probably, by far, one of the worst mint rolls I have ever cracked. I realize that technically, these coins graded at least MS-60, but they were so bad... I don't think I will waste my time with the rest, time to get a different box! I liked this one though, I think I am going to keep it, and call it 'Spot'! It does have the Dalmatian coat... "Here Spot, Fetch!" (tosses it into the junk pile)... Looks like those will end up back in circulation if I had a box like that.

I'll repeat that question too - where do you get mint boxes of dollars? The only ones I can ever get from banks are the lower denominations

If you have an account with the Royal Bank of Canada, you can order in mint boxes. You can also order directly from the Mint.

So for ordering in mint boxes from the mint, do you have to pay a premium or can you just get them for face value?
