I have been picking up alot of newer Canadian quarters and don't have an album to put them in. I have the Whitman Quarter Albums 1-5 but they stop about 2006 or so. I would even consider a blank quarter album. Also, to my friends up north, do you collect the series coins like olympic and commemoratives?

If you want to keep your coins in their present condition, I would recommend purchasing some 2x2 cardboard coin holders. This way there is no need to handle the coins if you'd like to see the obv. side. If you mention these to any dealer, they'll know right away what you're talking about.

I wouldn't settle on only a quarter of an album... I'd save up until you can afford the whole thing. (sorry, I couldn't resist ) Les

Yea but with a hole album you have to fill all those holes.

I sort of like using plastic coin sleeves, they can be put into a small binder. that way you can just keep adding pages and always have room for more ( doesn't end on a certain date) a little cheaper in the long run. As to the Olympic and commemorative, I have collected them but only to keep my collection up.

Thanks North of 49. Going up to Niagra Falls tonight for the week-end. I have about $40 in Canadian coins wrapped to cash in. Hope I can find a bank open.

TD banks are open on Saturdays and some branches are even open on Sundays now. Good Luck.

Didn't make it to any casino but did get to a bank to turn in the rolled Canadian coins I pulled from my searching. Got 23 new date loonies and about 6-7 different Olympic quarters. Three were colored with inserts. Was pretty happy with the pleasant tellers.

I decided to keep all the common Canadian coins I get from rolls down here and use them for another trip to Canada. I had a good time this last time and was able to get some Loonies and Quarters I needed.

Thanks nickle nubber. My collection is just from circulation and fairly complete. I have tried not to buy any coin for my collections and I find it very satisfying to finish a set. I was mostly interested in albums to contain the commemoratives and extra quarters. Love the newer designs with the inserts.
