I might add that the Nordic standard is somewhat stricter than this translation suggests. I have bought a large amount of VF coins worldwide, and only the best of them rate an 1+ in Norway. 1/1+ is more common. Likewise, a clear EF is rarely as good as a 01, we tend to have to move into AU territory for that. Our 0 is MS64 or better, MS 60-63 will generally be referred to as 0/01. Gold coins is an exeption. Even MS65 is most often thought of as a 0/01 there.

0xloupe, that is not up to date prices. $60 for a VF? You'd be hard pressed to get a VG for that amount - at least hereabouts. Overseas it appears to be possible.

DVCollector,there are three different main types of the 1687 2 skilling. You have here showed us two of them. The third resembles the second but has "1687" beneath a smaller monogramme. Your type with the "5" as opposed to a roman "V" is the most frequent one, that is correct.

In addition to the main types there are lots of smaller varieties, which is the case for basically every coin from the period. Some Norwegian collectors try to get all of them, at least for their favourite coins. Myself I have until now only tried to get one of each. That is difficult enough
