Went to the Bellaire coin show today here in Houston. Thought I would leave empty handed as prices were inflated. As I was heading toward the exit I spotted a table that had a box full of Mercury dimes with a sign that read "BU Mercury dimes $5.00 each. As I have been wanting to start a set I decided to sort through and pick up a few. I have a pretty decent start to my Dansco. I was able to pick up a 1934-d, a 1935-p and s, a '36 p and d, 1937 p,d, and s, a '38 p and s and '39 p d and s through '45 p d and s. Anyways, here are the pics. for years now I never wanted to get albums for my coins but that's it I'm envious of you guys now. I'm getting some dansco albums too

you didn't find any fsb coins, did ya? I think bu mercs are a steal @ $5....yes, they are common, but great designs and very popular and I think the popularity will continue

Those prices make me want to move south.
AU-BU Mercs sell for twice that up here in the Northeast.
I think you should have asked for a quantity discount and bought the whole box.
