Hi. Found this in my fathers collection - I have no idea what it is. Has anyone seen something like this?

Looks like a Japanese NIBU KIN a form of money used in he days when the Samurai ruled/
They are a mixture of silver and gold

Sorry for the quick reply, I should have included more information for you.
Never post when half asleep.
These coins have nuances on the flower side that make identification difficult sometimes.
From what I can tell from the photos it would be minted (minting is not quite right, these are hammered coins) under the shogun rule of Mutsuhito dated 1868-1869
It should weigh 3 grams and should be 22.3% Gold and 77.7% silver
NIBU = 2 BU
