These auctions make me feel rather puny. My father left me an F12 I'd never part with. Buy still, have to admire,

I could give it a good home right next to the 1913 Liberty nickel..

Fioti, I have to agree with you. We scrimp and save for the collection we have now and it's always nice to see one coin which exceeds everything we have. I always love watching auctions like this, thanks for the link. We have a couple of G4's that I hope one day to be able to combine to upgrade (probably won't make this MS65 however).

That one would not be a candidate to crack out and put into my dime folder.

As best as I can guess that coin belonged to to a teller working at a bank living in or around Denver circa 1916 who stashed it away back in 1916.

What an awesome coin to add to a millionaires colletion.

Way way way out of my everyday working Americans budget.

I blew all of my excess money on my SLQ accumulation.

Now there is a coin that would fit right in on my Mercury dime Album #1. However, since they are selling only one, I souldn't want my other sets to get jealous so I'll pass on this for now.

Would it be cool if I crack it out and pop it into my Littleton folder...with bare fingers after eating fried chicken and pizza...and no napkins? Nice coin. I've picked up quite a few items from Heritage, only a few coins, but lots of movie posters and sports items in the past.
Rest in Peace

Na, this is one that would look nice around your neck with a nice big hole drilled at 12 0'clock, and a sterling silver chain.
....I better stop, I am literally getting goose bumps thinking about it!

It is a beautiful coin, I too have bought from heritage auctions and done pretty well. Nice post!
