I am looking to finally make the move to get some of my coins graded and slabbed. Do any well known companies accept submissions directly from customers or does it all have to be done through an authorized dealer?

Click on the advertiser link ANACS to find out all the information you need to know.

The other 2 Big companies request you to join before submitting.

PCGS and NGC submittals can be sent in through an authorized coin dealer, check with your local coin shop, actual submittal fees may vary.

Is ANACS the only company that will allow direct submission of coins with out an authorized dealer? I ask because the only coin shop with in driving distance around my area is not an authorized shop.

You may submit directly to PCGS and NGC, but you must first join ($$). Prices are listed on their homepage and vary based on the accompanying perks.

If you happen to be a member of the ANA you can also do direct admissions to NGC without buying an extra membership. ICG allows direct submissions too last I knew.

So ANACS direct submissions
ICG direct submissions
NGC direct submissions for ANA Member or with paid NGC membership
PCGS dirct submissions with paid membership only.

SEGS also accepts direct submissions (not considered a top service for grading but probably the most accurate on attributions and varieties)

I would not consider submitting to anyone other than these five companies.

Man, these TPS's get you coming and going, huh?

Sort of like Sam's Club and Costo. For the privilege of shopping there, ya gotta join. Amazing.
