Does anyone know about how long it takes for the Economy Special (10 for $100) to turn these coins? I certainly realize that there are others who paid more for more expedient service, but realistically, hopefully by Thanksgiving? Report this Post to the Staff

I don't have my records in front of me but think it took 6 weeks between the time I shipped & when I got them back. My next batch I sent economy($14?/coin) & it took almost 8 weeks. The third & final batch had some higher dollar coins so I had to send them through the 15 day service.....& they got them in the mail 17 business days after they received them even though the website was proclaiming a 13 day turn around. Although I was satisfied with their grading I wasn't happy at all with turn around times. Report this Post to the Staff

trdhrdr007 Pillar of the Community United States 2335 Posts	Posted 10/14/2011 5:40 pm They post online when they get the coins, where they are in the grading process & when they ship. All 3 times I sent them coins they posted within a couple days that they had received the coins. On 2 out of 3 times I had the coins in hand before they posted that they were shipped. I only send coins in to be graded if I have an authenticity issue and/or if I am going to sell. I would probably use Anacs again because they are a respected TPG & their prices are reasonable despite what I consider slow service & lack of info. I haven't tried any of the other TPG's except for a group submission a few years ago. I have talked with a couple other forum members that weren't extremely happy with the length of time it took other TPG's to grade their coins. Report this Post to the Staff

I just checked ANACS.com and I have Items Numbers along with the Coin Description; 444XXXX 1835 1/2C 444XXXX 444XXXX 444XXXX 444XXXX 444XXXX 444XXXX 444XXXX 444XXXX 444XXXX 444XXXX 444XXXX 1884 CC $ I guess that they have gone through the graders, but I do not see the end results (grade/details/etc...). Is there a way to look up the item numbers to see the net results, before I receive them in hand? I called their 1-800 number and they sent me the grades via email...win some (better than I figured grades) lose some (7 problem free, 5 had issues; cleaned, scratched, and recolored). It's all good! oih82w8 Pillar of the Community United States 7840 Posts	Posted 11/10/2011 8:30 pm I received them back today via FedEx, the slabs were placeed into a divided cardboard box, no plastic divided holder like PCGS or NGC. It was scheduled to ship out on 17 Nov, got 'em back a week early. Report this Post to the Staff
