Nice set there Jangofett ( by the way, that is my son's favorite character). Maybe I am just lucky, but saving back nice looking 2009 cents from rolls as I search, I have put back a whole roll of the first three types of each mint, and roughly half a roll of the type four from each. Usually find about a dozen or so total of the first three total in each box and one or two of the type four. Am I just supremely lucky? Not trying to boast, just trying to understand what I have going on with my "local rolls"
BTW....these come from roughly $700 worth of searched rolls

Not trying to be a knucklehead or anything, but why did it take you two years to complete this set? I found mine a few months after each one was released. I do love the Lincoln cents though! So thanks for sharing your pics!

I haven't seen the LP4 yet in circulation or roll hunting, I had to trade for mine. For Denver I've only seen LP1. I know a lot of people have trouble finding 2009 nickels in circulation, but I think the cents are a lot harder to find.

I'm still missing the LP3-D cent.
The rest were found in circulation except for the LP4-D which my sister randomly found when she went to California (I'm in Michigan.) Kinda cheating, and I haven't seen one since.
I just got my first 2009 dime the other day...

Quote: Not trying to be a knucklehead or anything, but why did it take you two years to complete this set? Well, to answer your question, I too, got each P release (with the exception of LP4 P) shortly after they were released. Wasn't expecting the D's to be in my area for a long while, so I concentrated on just the 4 P's. Waited for an LP4 to come along but one didn't show up until recently. And this set wasn't really a top priority, so I didn't really make much of an effort to look for LP4. When I started seriously roll-searching cents (which wasn't too long ago), I kept more of an eye out for LP4. And in the meantime, I managed to find the first three 2009 D's. And so finally I found LP4 P (in some pocket change). Just need LP4 D, and if LP4 P was hard to find in my area (again, I'm on east coast), it's going to be tough to find it.

Jango, nice set. Looking at your 2by2 pictures a tip from one of the members. Take some pliers and flatten out the staple ends. They will go in and out of your folders better.

I usually do. It's just that I snapped these up right after I put them in, before I flattened them. Thanks everyone for your comments!
