Anyone out there big into collecting circulated Seated Liberty quarters? Its one of my favorite's and would like to start picking up some of the tougher dates in VG-VF grades.

I know that ShadowCreator has a lot of Seated coinage. Send him a PM and I'll bet he can help you out.

I like this coin type but rapidly found out there are a LOT of rare dates and mint marks...

But, I seriously wish you the best and:

Moe145, that's a real nice one with low mintage, is that the large or small "0"? I just bought a Seated quarter off ebay and will show pics when I get it. John

Thanks you for the compliments, guys. I really like the Seated quarters!

I did note the O mint mark seems to be in two different places on the 1840 O Seated quarter. 1: under the left claw as you look at the reverse (like mine), or 2: centered between both claws (like my 1841 O posted here). Interesting!

I don't know. I wasn't even aware there were 2 sizes!

But judging from this 1841 O Quarter, I would guess the O mint mark on the 1840 to be a large one...:

Sorry Moe, I got the 1843-0 confused with your 1841-0, the 1843 has two different size 0's.
Rest in Peace
