Check out the reverse. I suppose this is from a Grease Filled Die, but it's an unusual one for sure.

Saw a similar post the other week here on CCF, I am attempting a set of 2¢ pieces with each of the letters in cents missing, I have one with out the "cents" at all, an a couple of the other letters missing. I love Grease Filled Dies on this series.

There's an Indian cent on a german coin shop's ebay site that's missing every letter following the N in United to America. I call it the "un american" variety, but it's just a filled die. The grease must have been flying during the early days of automation.

Looks like the die sinker fell asleep or went home just before he finished his work for the day!
