I am new to coin collecting and bought some coins at a flea market yesterday. They are all from a place called Littleton Coin Co. and they come in a flimsy plastic "candy" like wraper with all the info about the coin. My question is should I take them out and put them in a holder to be graded or send them the way they are? I bought them all at there face value and some I dont know if I will even send in. Here is the list: 1976 Kennedy, half dollar, clad, says Unc-60 1976 Eisenhower, dollar, clad, says UNC-60 1955-S Roosevelt dime, silver, says Uncirculated-60 1941 Mercury dime, silver, says Fine (2) 1979 Susan B Anthony dollars, Gold Plated, (2) 1982-D Lincoln Head Small Date, Zinc, says Uncirculated-60 1979-1980-S,D,P Susan B Anthony dollar Set so a total of 6 coins Any input would be great, moderators if this should be moved to classic grading I apologize.

Nothing in the lot that would require grading. I'm guessing the Littleton grades are fairly accurate. If you got them for face value, nice job.

Is it worth getting the Roosevelt graded.. Looking at it I believe it could pass as MS66. I could post a pic but that would require taking it out of the littleton wraper

Hi NomadA32,
The dime has nice luster and probably is uncirculated, however the marks on the jaw and cheekbones, depending on their nature, might preclude it from being graded as a mint state coin by a reputable grading services. Just enjoy them as they currently are...

I don't think you should worry about getting it graded. Even at 66, numismedia list the FMV at $20. Having it graded will cost that much if not more. Leave it as is and enjoy.
