I picked this SLQ Type I for my 7070 a few weeks ago and would like your opinion towards the ANACS (early holder) grade given. As always, your opinions are appreciated!

Not completely sure if there is a trace of wear. If there is, then AU-58 FH but I will give it the benefit of a doubt and guess MS-63 FH.

I will go 64 on this one. Looks like I can see some luster in those fields.

Doesn't look like there's any wear (knee looks fine). Believe it's FH, but would need a better pic for grade. Probably 63/64, but it'd depend in part on the details on the shield which I can't really make out from the photo.

That's a great strike, and I don't see any real distracting marks in my browser. I'm going to say they gave it a MS65FH designation. I love these when they're well struck. This one's a dandy in that regard. I've seen PCGS 64s that didn't have full rivets.

Great specimen.

Lady Liberty DOES look delightful, doesn't She?

Coinwise: Fantastic! I agree with previous opinions.

I have a question: What does the incuse 'M' stand for?

The "M" is for the designer/sculptor Hermon A. MacNeil.

Makes me wonder if this one is worthy of resubmittal, based upon the consensus of the forum.

Always a pleasure sharing with you!

send it in again its not too hard to go up a point, I think ANACS can be too conservative sometimes send it into PCGS or NGC I think it will come back a 64.

I would need to get a hold of someone with a memembership in PCGS or NGC...then again "if" it moved up to MS64FH, that would pay for the membership for a year.

it you choose the cheapest tier its 39 for NGC and 49 for PCGS but I would recommend a higher tier because the free submissions pay in the long run.
