Is that a doubling on the CA?

That doubling is typical Longacre doubling on all 3CN hubs.

Something looks funny with the coloration on the coin. If those are the true colors, I have to wonder if someone improperly cleaned it.

There is a recut "United States of America" variety for this year These seem to give me the most trouble so I'm going to grade as many as I can and see if I can get better there are somany wead strikes for this variety and what I can tell this one is an XF because there looks like there is wear on the hair and the leaves.

Nice! I would say low AU from the picture. Is that a true representation of the color or is the color from the photo experimentation?

Sort of experimentation, I had this one at AU minor issues. I upped the 'saturation' in the photo to see how it'd come out.
