I did, however, snag a mint set with the proof small date for only $5 :)

I have one, but it was a gift from my father. I've never found one. I even searched a whole tub of 1970-S Lincolns that my grandmother had saved. She knew there was a difference, but couldn't see it. Out of that whole tub...not a single one.

This and the 1960 small date are extremely rare in circulation. I've never found one.

I voted $1000 plus, but it really only took me about $850 to get my small date.

I voted $1000 but I only found mine a couple of years ago and I started this hobby in 1971.Granted I could have missed finding one early on because I was still a newbie

I have yet to find one. I probably don't search near as many rolls as some people here, but I always start with the thought that it could always be in the next roll I open.

I assume that it's easier to find 70s small date on the west coast and 60 on the east coast. Anyone concur?

I think the 70S small date is a lot easier than 60 small date. A number of people here (including me, whoopie!) have found 70S, but I think I've only seen one person who found 60.
