Is that dog a bank full of coins? Not that it matters, I think it is impossible to make a guess without being able to see the dates.

If you have a photo that you can enlarge on your computer, you might see dates and then look them up one at a time.

I see some silver there -- so it's worth at least the melt on those items.

Looks like a fun collection to scoop up. I'd buy something like that just because I would have fun looking everything up after I got it home.

The Banknotes (From what I can see) are all extremely common.

Start by calculating the approximate melt value of the silver coins. That should give you a lower estimate of what the lot would go for. There are the 9 Canadian Silver dollars, either 2 or 4 US Peace dollars (It looks like only 2 silver dollars in that picture to me), and what looks like 4 half-dollars. The bulk of the collection looks like Canadian coinage and currency, but you are in Canada so you will probably have a better feel for the values than most Americans. You might be able to figure out more info about the bills, but I doubt you can do much about the coins until you are there.

Hey might be just a dumb question but that price for the dollars was per coin or for the 4 coins? Just asking.
