Am I right in thinking this is from Belgium? It is dated 1750, and is 23mm in diameter.

Not particularly rare, I have a few; but mostly due to the copper content they have a beautiful purple patina. Yours appears not to have this, but then it is in the best condition I've seen and has had relatively little circulation.

Thank you for the very quick response & identification Bob. I just did a Google search on it & saw some good looking examples of the purple patina you mentioned.
To be honest, I don't think I could grade the coin as more than very good, as it looks better in the photograph then it does in my hand!
