I bought this coin and on the listing it said AU details corroded but it kind of looks funny do you see anything from the pictures that make this coin look off to you? The measurement and weight are good but the letters and color just dont seem right maybe its just the corrosion.
Do they fake common Indian cents?

Corroded and cleaned, probably a ground find that was spruced up.

I agree, it is cleaned. That is what makes the coin look weird.

Yes--cleaned/dipped down to the metal. A VF details coin would never be this bright.

wow that looks like it was sand blasted. That seems to be a common date I get in so-called unsearched Wheat penny rolls and they are like Fine+
