High end VF. Obv could go XF but I don't think the rev quite supports it.

Reverses tend to wear a lot more easily I've found on later Seated dimes
30, maybe 35 out of 70, so VF

What a lovely, crusty old lady!

I'm also with the high VF crowd.

Looking at the rim and from the wear on the obv shoulder, legs, head and the wreath on the rev I think its a solid VF nice coin

VF-25 at best I think. The denticles are pretty worn on both sides which IMO rules out a choice VF or higher grade.

I'd be a bit concerned about surface quality; the photos make it look as if the coin may be slightly corroded. If it's just dark original tone it would not be a defect.

My guess would be VF no point in arguing grade numbers at this level, it's a nice worn piece. No rim nicks, bumps, etc that are seen so often on worn dimes.

Original VF. Greysheet bid in VF is $42, so you got a real steal! Good job!

Higher VF, strength of shield indicates less wear.

well it is a cc which is one more than I have. Not too bad of a grade either. FMV lists this as a $40 dollar coin to $77 in xf. What did you pay for it?
