Just wondering how one of my Morgan dollars would grade. I know it had to have been cleaned (it just looks way to clean for the wear) Thank you Ron

Though the coin is a year of interest the grade is not...this is a melt value coin.. nothing more...the year is grade sensitive, meaning AU and above are the money makers for this year...with huge jumps in value a=from authentic AU and above coins..

I agree it looks cleaned. The 1884-s in higher grades does command some serious coin. If I was going to purchase one I would Go with a slabbed AU-50 and up. I have seen too many people grade raw ones as sliders which grade wouldn't go AU-50 too much to risk from xf-40 at like $65.00 and $270 or so for au-50. Then theres the another big jumps in price from Au-58 to ms-60 now were talking thousands of dollars for the upgrade.

Sorry I might have gotten of on a tangent.
