Went to new (to me) coin store today called J&J Coin and Collectables. Wonderful staff and I got: A 2007 First day of issue Brilliant Unc. Tomas Jeferson dollar, NGC for $3 A 1947 S LWC, AU-Details cleaned for $0.35 A whitman classic Barber dime folder (From the 40's!) for FREE! It was used, but awesome. And... A whitman classic Mercury dime folder (Also from the 40's) for free, too! Again used. My mom paid for it for me Anyway, I did some chores today and I'm about to go on e-bay. Wish me luck!

Sometimes it's nice to get anything, even if it's not too valuable. I'm wishing you luck on ebay.

Thanks. I bid on the wrong coin Oh well, I guess I just have to go with it. Like over 1 hr. before the bidding is done so yeah.

Quote: That is one nice looking 1950-D! I agree, it seems like 50-D was saved by the roll as LDS examples. Nice pick!

Picked this today at my LCS for spot ($57.50). It's damaged, but I love these little gold dollars & couldn't pass it up. BTW, I am really happy to have found this forum!

Awesome buy rahtburg! I would've purchased it too at that price, despite the damage it is a great coin.

Beautiful cent @Stephen420 Picked this up to go at the tail end of my Eisenhower Album along with the Eisenhower Centennial and the Marshall Islands Centennial. Plan on adding the 2013-W 5 star Generals coin to finish the album.
