Very nice coin. My only SLQs are in low circulated grades, like batboy said.

I made yet another nice nickel junk bin find. This little guy sneaked his way into a bag of junk Liberty nickels which were a buck a piece. This is now the oldest coin in my collection. Not bad for a dollar.

A nice brown 1908 Indian Head cent. Part of a mixed six coin lot that cost me $10 (shipping included in the total).

It's got a little "woodie" toning going on, brown with just a hint of red underneath.

Really nice LSQ! How much did that baby cost you? I saw one at my LCS that was in MS65 and it was so good it looked fake. The dealer wanted around $2000 for it. I am saving to buy a 1916 with a decent date whatever that costs. I have all the ,but none in that condition you showed. 1916 in that condition would be off the charts if they exist at all. I did read that even when 1916 was first issued people were lined up to buy them because all knew they were rare and would be valuable in the near future. I have a 1923-S in EF condition and that cost me $1300. Most of my set is in F or VF condition. That Stone Mountain commemorative is nice. I see most of the early commemoratives were half dollars. I like them and the newer ones that are dollar coins. I got my wife the Baseball Hall of Fame 2014 coin for $49 in uncirculated condition. Some people see great deals on ebay for coins and I don't see that at all. I usually see high retail. I think you can do better at Heritage Auctions.

I like looking over what Heritage has to offer, but I'm not old enough to legally buy anything.

Thank you, I was actually going to submit it for one of the future Guess the Price contests. I will say this though, when the dealer told me what he was asking for it I couldn't get my wallet out fast enough!!
