All '59 & '60 Charlotte HEs were struck with poorly annealed reverse dies, thus the 'weak strike' or "wear" look. This one also has some strange little green sticker on the slab that looks somewhat like a small football. I'll probably just peel that sucker off because I find it rather distracting. Here's a pic of my '60-C for reference... same reverse look. A herd of Buffalos that no one wanted to bring home, even for only $9. But, a closer look and you'll see a nice VG '25-S and F '27-D...and also 1916, 1921, and 1923-S in the mix.
