Not the deal of the century, but in this lot I think I snagged an albeit worn, 1830 Medium Letters. Should fill the hole nicely.

Brilliant find on the medium letters

First post outside of the welcome thread. I purchased this 1916 SLQ from my metal detecting buddy last year. He found it in a park we were hunting together. He had to sell it to pay some medical bills and I matched his best offer from coin dealers.

I didn't find it, (though I wish I had) but I was the second person in history to see it since the unfortunate person that lost it. Graded fine with scratches, my friend hit it with his digging tool and cleaned it.

Thank you and yes I was fortunate but it cost me three grand! Good old fashioned Luck would have moved me over about 15 feet and let me find it first!
