A couple of recent ones. I'm not a medal collector, but the high relief on the Hancock grabbed my interest, then the Henry Lee caught my interest. My only CC: And..

Those America's First Medals are nice, and IIRC, not at all expensive.

I sold the 1882-CC PL Morgan I just got to help pay for this I am not a big fan of the Morgan dollar and so I had no problem letting it go for this quarter. The label states it is a Type II but the coin is actually a Type I, having a bare breast and no stars under the eagle on the reverse. I'm going to send it back to PCGS to correct the label, yes, some people say there are those who collect "error" slab labels but I'm not one of them. For what they charge to render an opinion of a coin they should also get the label right the first time. Ed ANA LM-3175

Went to a small coin show today in North Dallas, TX. I picked up 9 Two Cent Pieces for my collection. several RPD's and an awesome die cracked 1866, pictures soon, as I'm at Starbucks now, just came from the show. The weather is looking so nice, I'm setting up the telescope for some astrophotography tonight, so coin shooting will have to wait until Sunday afternoon - late, whenever I finally crawl out of bed after staying up all night!

Gyrene...
Beautiful quarter! How can PCGS get the label wrong? And on a coin as awesome as that!

After some restraint from buying for a while, I picked up a 1877-CC Seated Liberty dime for my b-day over the weekend;

That 1927 SLQ is absolutely gorgeous! How can than ONLY be MS62? I would buy that coin at a MS62 price in a heartbeat.
