Nice gold Ralph! I thought you were working on another set of Morgans? Speaking of which, my lowest grade certified coin just added this week. VAM 2

My main collection is my Bust Halves, but always seem to fall back on the Morgans because I can't find any Busties near me.

Those Half Eagle Indian Head gold coins are just so fine! To think these coins were rejected by many when they first were minted. I think the indian heads are really attractive as are all the gold coins of 20th century for the short time they lasted. I understand why someone would want to take a break from the Morgans. What is funny is 1893CC compared to 1894. 1894 has mintage of just about 111,000 and in higher grades is much cheaper than 1893CC. The only coin with lower mintage than 1894 is the 1893-S with mintage of 100,000. 1895-O is $950 in AU and $17,000 in MS60. This is a little bit crazy. 1896-S is also a crazy coin with mintage of 5 million but $700 in AU and $2400 in MS60.
