It was quite a looker in the pic but it is far more beautiful in person. It has reflective fields. I'm much more of a world collector so I'm not overly familiar with this series. Is that a common characteristic or is this a good indication that it is a proof? Any good way to know for sure? Report this Post to the Staff

Any good way to know for sure? There is no way that you coin is a proof. During the 19th century, proofs were made a the Philadelphia mint. The San Francisco mint didn't take over proof production until 1968. Regardless, it's still a very nice coin. Report this Post to the Staff
