Not the best of condition but it whittles my Mercury set down to only needing the 16-d... Thanks to my beautiful wife for these two...

I just bought this one. It was cheap ... and what an extreme example of Machine Doubling. The reverse exhibits the same southwest to northeast doubling. Chance

Not so sure JBuck, retirement has slowed my progress but brought much needed energy in its place...

Well, I do have some other big holes competing for funding... 1877, 1909-S IHC, 1909-S VDB, 1914-D, and 1922 "plain" cents; the 1913-S V2 nickel; and those two Seated dollar holes in the 7070. Then there is that recently started slabbed Ike set.

Bargain hunting for fun and ... well, fun. 39 Buffs for 12 bucks. Seller states all are full 4 digit date w/partial or full horn. I see some 20s and 30s. Fill some holes, check for varieties, and trade the rest. 1909-D Barber quarter for $5 with free shipping. Looks like a solid problem free VG8 to me.
