From one quarter guy to another, I salute your quest!
. Very good, I appreciate that. It would be great to stay in contact. As this is a classic thread about new acquisitions can you recommend another existing topic that deals or has dealt with early & seated 25C?
I'm sure the mods would prefer that the members not divide into denomination camps. And yet I wonder what % of collectors stay so focused. Even though I prefer quarters (why is another good thing to discuss), also interested in early cents and dimes. All of these were the workhorse denominations that circulated when the country was new.
Thanks for the encouragement, and I will look forward to figuring out where to continue in this forum!

Looks like you found my bust quarter thread cdqguy, please feel welcome to keep discussing there. For me, the "why" is mostly around the combination of ideal physical size (my opinion obviously) and relative rarity. Plus they look so nice when they tone a certain way.

For the Seated quarters, I have been thinking about diving in for more of a lifetime quest, but there are just so many I worry about it becoming a drag eventually -- on the other hand, what an accomplishment that would be. We'll see.

Had this one on layaway since last summer and added it late Fall. Image is a little juiced up with contrast. Pretty nice detail for the PCGS F12 grade.
Very nice!

Picked off another FE cent on eeBay from a fellow CCF member (haven't figured out who yet though)

An attractive example, even though it's circulated.

It was for a great price and helps my "quest" for 50 pieces. I think this one may make 41. Here's the last time I got 2 which I thought made 40

Graded MS-65 FB by NGC. Looks better in hand than in the pics.

Going to start a Mercury dime type set (just dates, not all mintmarks - can't afford the 1916-D) and thought this would be a good start.
