The Stella is nice, but right now I am saving up for an 1849 Double Eagle, 1822 Half Eagle, 1804 Dollar, or 1804 Eagle Proof. Only for the highest quality, problem free coins. Back to reality, nice addition murrellington; looks Au53 to me. Are you cracking them out and putting them away in a Dansco or just keeping them in a slab (smart?) And scott. 1956 flying eagle is a dream of mine too. I would try to make it a reality by saving, but I don't think my wife would ever be okay with me dropping thousands on one coin. lol. I'll give you my business card :) As David Q Bowers had said, no one will ever accomplish what Louis Eliasberg did again. As most of you know (99% at least I hope), he was an investment banker who invested in coins, completing an entire set of US coinage AND with an eye for quality pieces. Not to mention that he also assembled a fabulous collection of world coins. The reason one does not see this happening again, is that the prices are too high and coins like the unique 1870s $3 are impounded or loaned to the museums. But I believe if we got 100K people to join the cause we could reach new limits in numismatics instead of admiring the old records of Eliasberg and the work of the deceased Walter Breen, a convicted child molester.
