I purchased about 100 coins yesterday. Now I'm cleaning them one by one. Here are some pics of coins and my cleaning tools.

First is some coin with full and nice silvering :) Second is Valentinianus from Siscia and I experimented with him. I wanted to clean all patine because patina was damaged, but I left some like this for better effect. Last one is some large bronze, I think Augustus or some ruler from same period.

What do you use as far as a cleaning agent goes? Have you had any luck with olive oil?

Huh... dont know how to explain. I clean coins by myself for a long time... You just pick dirt from coins slow and carefully. You need to be relaxed and hand need to be calm. I have 2 tools: 1 for larger and 1 for smaller spots on coin(like letters). See pictures.
