Here is the results after five months and approximately $900 worth of bank roll hunting. Most of my boxes have been Brinks but none are CWRs. I would love to hear your thoughts on my progress so far. All of my 1958 through current cents are pretty much BU except for my 1972-S and 1960SD. Ones older than 1958 vary tremendously in condition, but I am pretty happy so far. I haven't put in my 2011s yet...still going through rolls for a super perfect pair.

Nice set ! Are you trying to put together a complete set just from circulation? If you are good luck. I've tried that and learned that the condition of some years were just horrible. And finding some years is like hitting the lottery! I ended up buying a few for better grades. Mines still not complete and probably never will be. Still GOOD LUCK.

I too have been bank roll searching trying to fill in my albums of coins that are still circultating (Jefferson nickels, Roosevelt dimes, Washington quarters, State and Park Quarters, Sac and President dollars)

I did cheat and bought a near complete set of Mercury dimes for melt (missing 10), Roosevelt silver dimes for melt (missing 8), and I picked up a 1909-1940 set of Lincoln cents that had 72 coins (including some minor keys) for a whopping $12.50. A set missing more dates than mine did sold for $70 2 days later so I think I got a deal

That's pretty good from roll hunting. The chances of you filling those first two pages with finds are slim to none though.

That's pretty impressive from roll hunting and the set looks great. The 09-VDB, 24-S, 33, and 43 are all really good finds. I think the fact that you haven't found a RD 72-S is one of those strange out-liners. I don't search too many cent rolls anymore, but I probably find 3-4 RD 72S per box. They are much more common on the west coast though. I'm sure you'll get one eventually.

Are you ever going to "semi-cheat" and search Wheat cent bags? It's not quite buying the coins.
