That's a hum-dinger. MS 65 FB is a possibility.

I'm not any authority on grading at all. But to my eyes it looks like a strong MS66. I see what looks like minimal contact marks and just a tad bit of wear. However the luster is strong enough that I suspect the appearance of wear is more likely the strike being a later state die.

I wouldn't put to much stock on my opinion though. Like I said, I'm no authority. There are many experts here and a collective of their opinions would be the best approximation of what you have.

I would be proud to own to own that coin. Its beautiful.
Rest in Peace

MS 65-FB.
Very clean and sharp eye appeal.

If not for the hit on the top diagonal band, I would say MS 66.

I am a merc lover and this is a beautiful coin. I would grade this coin MS66 with full bands. The bands look like they are rounded and there is no way this would not get an 'FB' designation. There are slight marks on the neck which are not very detracting. The mark in the upper diagonal band does not bother me at all and it should not affect the grade. This coin has nice detail and is very sharp looking!

very sweet looking coin! I would say ms-66, I have owned a few later dates in 65 and 66 and this is as good as them. Are you going to get it certified?

It's also a very good strike for an S mint Merc, with no weakness at all around the periphery.

I am looking in the Red Book and it looks like it might be worth $210 if graded MS-65
