This may be general knowledge, regardless, when a coin is submitted is it directed to an expert of that specific coin? In simpler terms, is there a Walking Liberty half "team" Mercury dime "team" etc. Even as a novice in grading I can still observe huge inconstancies in grading, even within the same company.

Or could one individual potentially grade 50+ different designs a day?

Thoughts?

The large grading companies use three people to grade a single coin each getting their own turn to grade. If there are any inconstancies the coin is sent back through the grader different from the first. They do not have any specific knowledge they are just handed a coin and told to grade it.
