Due to an amazing amount of requests/cajoles/demands, I have decided to REVISIT the 32 Days of Capped Bust half dollars!

Since the 47 Days of 2,3, & 20 Cents ends on the 24th of November, we will take a week off and hit the Holiday Season running with Capped Bust Half Dollars on the 1st of December!

Just a review how this works: We all post pictures of all the Capped Bust half dollars you own, of that year, on the day posted below. For example: post pictures of all your 1807 CBHDs on the 1st of December, all your 1808 CBHDs on the 2nd, and so on.

Proposed schedule:

1 Dec: 1807
2 Dec: 1808
3 Dec: 1809
4 Dec: 1810
5 Dec: 1811
6 Dec: 1812
7 Dec: 1813
8 Dec: 1814
9 Dec: 1815 (Maybe some CCfer has one now?)
10 Dec: 1817
11 Dec: 1818
12 Dec: 1819
13 Dec: 1820
14 Dec: 1821
15 Dec: 1822
16 Dec: 1823
17 Dec: 1824
18 Dec: 1825
19 Dec: 1826
20 Dec: 1827
21 Dec: 1828
22 Dec: 1829
23 Dec: 1830
24 Dec: 1831
25 Dec: Take a day off with your Family!
26 Dec: 1832
27 Dec: 1833
28 Dec: 1834
29 Dec: 1835
30 Dec: 1836
31 Dec: 1837
1st of January 2012: 1838 and 1838 O (Happy New Year!)
2 Jan: 1839 and 1839 O

I think we'll have some serious posters of these gems this time! I have a feeling CCF has many more Capped Bust half dollar collectors now than we did last time!

And if you don't have any CBHs, NOW is the time to start gettin' them!

Nothing out of the ordinary Moe. I can only fill 20 of the 32, some years with more than one. Just my favorite series, beautiful coins in hand. No 1815 coming in my group.

Thanks Moe! My favorites! Was my "please, please, please - I beg you" a bit overdone?

I missed it last time and am looking forward to see everyone's collection and some awesome coins!

Shameless *BUMP* follows...

4 days to go folks!

Just a note: I will start a new thread for the actual posting of the 32 Days of Capped Bust half dollars REVISITED.

This thread is NOT where we will all post our CBHDs. This is just the introductory thread, so please wait until I start the other thread tp ost your magnificent collections. Why? because this thread will be locked after we start the actual 32 Days of Capped Bust half dollars REVISITED and no one will be able to post coins here!

I know there are several folks out there with stupendous Capped Bust half dollar collections and I, for one, can hardly wait to see them!

(cue excessive celebratory fruit...)

Just a question before we start the Days of Capped Bust half dollars. Do you think we will ever have a days of Draped Bust Half Dollars 1796 - 1807 or is it too few years and maybe too few coins to post?

If we don't plan have a 'days of draped bust' thread in the future may I suggest that we post (if Moe approves) any we own to this new thread either before or on opening day December 1? I'd love to see what everyone has if they do collect draped bust half dollars. Anyone else interested?

I also would looove to see the earlier halves.
Why not make it an 'X days of early halves' thread by starting with 1839 and working backwards this time?
Just a friendly suggestion to liven up the interest and activity.

The schedule is already set. Why not take 2 or 3 days in Jan after the 1839's to post late entries and the early years.
