Hi I'm new here and would like to show what I picked up while searching through dealer junk bins. I payed $12 for the halfs, $6 for the quarters and $2.25 for the dimes. I was surprised to find some of these better dates. Here is a list. The halfs are the 1894-s, 1899-s, 1899-p, 1900-s x2, 1903-s, and a 1905-o.

The quarters are the 1913-p x2, 1913-d in vg, 1927-d, and a 1927-s.

The dimes are the 1910-s, the 1913-s and 7 others in fine condition.

Here is a picture.

I would say you did very well. I particularly like the dimes. Looking forward to seeing more of your posts.

Wow that's a really great pickup. Mostly since you bought them all a bit under melt, you saved more than 8 dollars. And most of them seem to be in quite good condition. I'll leave the experts to determine which coins are the best and stuff like that.

Good luck in your next finds!

Thanks everyone! I like barbers because there are many with low mintages. The 1913-p quarter has the same mintage as the 1909-s-vdb.

thats a really great pick up. Whenever I get nicer grade merc or any other classic coins for melt at coin shows I am pleased.
Last show I went to I grabbed an SLQ for $5.50. Love it when I find those kind of deals

Nice find! Maybe thats what I will do tomorrow! Go and check out the local gold and silver buyer and see what they have. I am sure that have gotten some new things in since I was there last month.

You know, I'm sorta surprised folks haven't come to see what I've got in my store. Ya'll know the dumb questions I've been posting: pretty beginner stuff.

A knowledgeable coin guy could probably find some deals...

very nice, it's hard enough to find "junk" at spot.
