Here are two more auctions of counterfeit Mexican coins. Posted in the past 24 hours. This is typical of the average day.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Very-nice-Mexic...320066976250 Modern Tourist fake - no warning.

http://cgi.ebay.com/6-OLD-MEXICAN-S...290067070316 An entire group of Modern Chinese forgeries in White Metal. - no warning once again.

There are no new "Contemporary Counterfeits" psoted in the past 24 hours under Mexico.

It is a modern version of the Counterfeit Detection scale. It measures diameter, thickness and weight to approximate SG. You need a different "scale" for each coin in this case. It would work, but convenience?

At least the first seller changed the description and dropped the shipping cost after he found out it was fake.

Yeah, it costs much less to ship a fake than an authentic coin.

Hey texasmick at least he has responded to my comment - the other seller has not. Can't kick him too hard for being honest.
