Date doubling is only a start; 6 out of the 15 known 1897-P varieties show it to one degree or another. We'd need to discuss date placement and orientation as a start to narrow it down. See the first part of my little attribution guide:

Ok I checked that ut and the acutaul VAM website, there is alot of vams so its pretty confusing, I have never dealt with this type of error so I'm new to this, ill tell you what my coin has and maybe we can come up with a conclusion, the front 1897 in the front is doubled, not alot but I can see it, the letters on the front seem to be doubled as well, some of the stars also, on the back the letters around the coin look doubled and the in god we trust, other then that the coin looks to be normal, thanks for help greatly appreciated

First, please, date location and orientation as in the link. Even if a written description of the doubling were sufficient (it isn't), it may be a later or earlier die state than the coins shown at VAMworld, and therefore the description might not match anyway.
