Ok so I was buzzing around ebay tonight and I had looked at this one earlier. So I decided to bring her over and show her it. Before she got to the computer I told her it was only 14,900.00. She said "what". So I showed her it. She told me I wasn't allowed to bid on any that expensive. I aid how about when we each are making 100K a year. She said we will see.

Why the heck isn't that in a slab? It is likely a cleaned AU which can make thousands in difference between that and a problem free BU. These types of sales make me very uneasy.

I'm with Johnny. I can see wear on this coin. AU55-58 at best. Surfaces do appear altered.
Raw...forget it.

Oh I agree with the slab it! I wouldn't spend this much money on a raw coin. Maybe if I was there in person and they had a buy back gaurentee if it didn't go ms-61 or above. I see some but very little wear on the obverse now that you mention it.

Still a really beauty.

I also agree with Coinstar, I could do alot with 15K!

Raw...that price...forget it. Unless you're an expert on the series and see the coin in hand, for that price it's got to be slabbed.

It is a pretty coin and I would accept it for my album but only as a gift. Santa do you accept electronic requests now?

I don't like the darkness around the mint mark. For this kind of money I would want to be certain it is a legitimate unaltered coin.
