darryldarryl Pillar of the Community Canada 2428 Posts	Posted 11/16/2011 8:22 pm Actually I had a conversation about this coin with a very well known and respected error collector who bought the first one of these. He states that the loonie is not struck on a foreign planchet but is missing all of the plating and although the listing didnt mention it, the Olympic logo were in fact missing on the coin! Note that on circulation strikes, the 'Vancouver 2010' is raised, but on the colored (nickel) puck loon, it is painted.
