Hi I was wondering if any one could tell me if this is the somwhat rare 1970 s small date. I put an line across the top to show if its level or not. TY

Sorry, but that's a large date 1970S.

If you turn the coin sideways it clearly shows the base of the 7 extending well below the base of the 0.

The 9 does not curl enough, and the 7 is too low.

Large date indeed.

This is a very confusing coin for many to identify ... I finally broke down and purchased a PCGS certified 1970-S small date that I keep as my reference example .... in hand the differences are quite clear.
