This is not a 1962 penny so you may disregard it as a Guitar/Harp variety. In this case the lines are going from the leaf toward the "1". I am asking would you consider this to be a harp because it has a similar line pattern in the same area as a 1962 Guitar/Harp variety?

That is a great find, thanks! While sorting through old bags of coppers I've always glanced in hope of finding something like that for years other than 1962.

From what I can see (and I am sight challenged), there appears to be five parallel lines. That would mimic the 'guitar' version found on the '62, whereby there are five lines of approximately the same length. I think on the 'harp' version, there are four lines of varying length, however I faintly recall hearing about some five string harps out there somewhere.

I have never seen one with those five similar lines going to THAT leaf... I have a 1977 with 'harp-like' marks, but in similar fashion to the 1962 cent. What year is your coin?

I only found a 1973 with a single die clash in the same spot. Nice find.

Yeah, I've over looked that area for a while but recently found a dozen die clashes like that in the 1970's. The clash marks have more curves compared to the nearly straight lines on my harp.
