In this case the lines are going from the leaf toward the "1". I am asking would you consider this to be a harp because it has a similar line pattern in the same area as a 1962 Guitar/Harp variety? While sorting through old bags of coppers I've always glanced in hope of finding something like that for years other than 1962. From what I can see (and I am sight challenged), there appears to be five parallel lines. That would mimic the 'guitar' version found on the '62, whereby there are five lines of approximately the same length. I think on the 'harp' version, there are four lines of varying length, however I faintly recall hearing about some five string harps out there somewhere. Report this Post to the Staff

I have a 1977 with 'harp-like' marks, but in similar fashion to the 1962 cent. What year is your coin? Cubro99 Valued Member Canada 64 Posts	Posted 11/18/2011 6:25 pm Yeah, I've over looked that area for a while but recently found a dozen die clashes like that in the 1970's. The clash marks have more curves compared to the nearly straight lines on my harp. Report this Post to the Staff
