I know I've seen all three of these before, I just can quite place them. Going left to right, perhaps Tibetan first two then Taiwan?

On the third one is a portrait on Sun Yat-sen, similar to the one used on Taiwanese coins, but I'm pretty sure this isn't an actual coin, rather a medal of some kind. Bigger pics of that one might help.

It's actually a portrait of Chiang Kai-shek.

The inscription translates as "Commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the Republic of China" which would be the year 1971.

The reverse side has what appears to be two crosses joined together. These are two Chinese characters for "ten" (shi shi 十十) written together.

The "National Day" of the Republic of China (Taiwan) is "Double Ten Day" meaning the tenth day of the tenth month or "October 10th".

A silver version of the medal may be seen here.

A gold version may be seen here.

Manymore / Gary - thank you so very much for your detailed reply on both of my Chinese postings on the ID forum. The links provided on the other thread look very interesting and I have started reading through.

I've bought some large lots of chinese coins recently, most of which relitively easy to ID, but I've still a hand full of more interesting looking cash coins and similar items to ID. I'll start a new read and put the most interesting looking on here

Thanks again
