This was in a small lot of tokens I bought today at the local flea market. I was wondering if someone had any information on it or something similar.
Is this similar to one of those plastic key chains they used to have on hotel room keys that said "if found, drop in any mailbox...POSTAGE GUARANTEED"?

Okay, I found out what it is. Apparently "My Apartment" in Rochester, NY is a small bar. This is a good luck token from that bar that someone put a hole in. Pretty interesting stuff.

Mods, you can move this to Tokens, Medals, and other Exonumia if you want.
Rest in Peace

Before I read your second post I thought "What a bad idea!" If you got mugged the crook could take your keys -- if that was a key chain -- and he would have the address. It would save him a lot of time. LOL

Here in IL people used to have little miniature license plates that they put on their key chains to remember their license numbers. That way if somebody 'found' your keys they could also 'find' your car.

Reminds me of an ad I saw on Kijiji recently stating that they had lost their keys (it was put in the 'lost and found' section). Of course, if you click the map link, they were good enough to enter their correct postal code so that any dishonest person that found the keys could find the door they open!

Also....

Apparently it is bad practice to program your tomtom (car GPS street finder system) with "home" because if someone steals your car then they can find your home easily and they know you are not there - because they have just stolen your car ...

Not coin related I know - but the thread seems to be going this way :)

Are you saying that people are dopey enough to leave their Tomtoms in their car? What's next? Purses? Christmas presents? Even their keys? rofl
