Little update, just found another in the exact same spot!
Its a little duller but exact same size and in the same spot.

Not a ghost, probably an asteroid.

I think those 'bubbles' are from a worn die that has a little gouge in it so when it stamps the coins the opposite -- a 'bubble' -- shows up. OR...maybe some chemical reaction...but I doubt it since you found another.

If it's in the exact same spot I would think it's a die gouge. If it's off a little it's probably a gas bubble. Did you check it for a WAM?
