Hi there,

I received this coin in Uttar Pradesh, North India several years ago, and just rediscovered it. I have tried to decipher what I could, but I can't read persian script, and I haven't been able to find any comparable characters on other coins. Could you please help me out by identifying the Emperor's name, year, and place of mint? Thanks very much!

This is a coin of Akbar. If it weighs around 20gms, it is a dam/paisa. Mint looks like "Dogaon".

Date is written in words on the side showing the floral design(first image). Some coins show a numerical date at the bottom line.
